Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 is an American-styled Cafe racer, combined with a powerful twin-cylinder 648cc engine. Currently, the waiting period for getting the motorcycle is over 2 months.
Royal Enfield launched the highly-awaited Continental GT 650 and Interceptor 650 in India last month. GT 650 is a cafe racer while Interceptor is the old-school Classic Roadster with some modern fits and finishes.
The 650 Twins are amongst the cheapest twin-cylinder motorcycles in India. As of now, both are the most powerful bikes in RE's production cycle.
The bookings for both the motorcycles started way long in October end. If you do the booking right now, expect a minimum waiting period of 2 months and more. That too depends on the colour that you choose.
There are some differences between both the bikes like a different handlebar, riding position and foot peg. Rest of the mechanicals remain the same between both.

It is speculated that it will cost between Rs 3.5 Lakhs. The pricing is estimated mainly because of the added twin parallel engine and ABS feature. Also, its predecessor, GT 535, is priced starting from Rs 2.05 Lakh.

The estimated mileage is of the motorcycle will be around 30 kmpl with a fuel capacity of 12.5 Litres. GT 650 gets exciting Dual exhaust mufflers. The gearbox gets slip/assist clutch offering smoother riding.

Being a type of cruiser bike, it falls off against the other bikes in the same price range. Royal Enfield GT 650 has been launched globally and is bound for India this year. According to some reports, the bike will hit the Indian roads anytime after April 2018.
